The District of Muskoka is licensed by the Ministry of Education to provide home child care programming for children from birth to age 12. Approved home child care providers contract with the Muskoka Home Child Care Agency to provide high quality, affordable and accessible care.
The Agency views children as wondrous, joyful, and inquisitive and we celebrate their uniqueness. The Agency supports families in feeling welcomed, valued, and connected as we create a learning environment that invokes curiosity and engagement while igniting a lifelong love of learning.

Did You Know? New Providers joining the Muskoka Home Child Care Team are eligible to receive up to $6,000 in Canada Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) Start Up Funding! This funding is designed to assist you with the initial costs of being an approved provider and includes items such as obtaining your First Aid and CPR, your Criminal Reference Check, Vulnerable Sector Check, Fire Inspection and so much more!
